I just came back from an exciting mission tour to Kenya and South Sudan. It was such a great opportunity for me to meet Christian leaders and churches in both countries, and meet new and old friends.
Leadership seminars in Embu, Kenya.
After having arrived in Nairobi I was picked at the airport by my close friend and coworker for many years, Pastor Geoffrey Muthinja. The next day we drove to Embu where I lived some months with my family in 1974. Here I had two great days with about 45 leaders from East Africa Pentecostal Churches. I have been working together with many of them in the ministry for many, many years, and they are my close friends. I have a deep respect for the fruits of their labor in the Lords Kingdom for many years.
We had a tremendous time there in the presence of the Lord, and I felt led by the Lord to remind them how important it is to focus on the main thing – bringing souls to Jesus, being fishers of men and preparing the church for the soon returning Christ Jesus.

I also had the privilege to have a gathering there presenting the opportunity today of earning money through internet. I have been very blessed by different internet business, and I was presenting the opportunity to a large group of people on Saturday in Embu. Equip leadership training continue in Juba. From Kenya I travelled to the capital of South Sudan, Juba, and met the group that I am taking through the Million Leaders Mandate training. The group there where now going through the Notebook 5, and we plan to have the graduation the 26th and 27th of November this year. This time I had Pastor Geoffrey Muthinja (picture) with me to help in the leadership training, and he was a great blessing both to me and to the pastors and leaders. He has followed me and often interpreted for med in Kenya, and knows the teaching well. He also has a long and fruitful ministry himself and a lot of experience in leadership. |

The seminars for parliamentarians postponed.
The parliament of South Sudan had taken a pause now, and we had to postpone the training for them to the 22nd and 23rd of November. I had an evening together with Julius Moilinga, the Chairman of the National Prayer Breakfast in the Parliament and some other Ministers of Parliament at Juba Bridge Hotel at the River Nile, and they are looking forward to this training and believe it can be of great importance for the nation of South Sudan.

The ordination of a new Juba Area Board of
the Sudan Pentecostal Churches.
On Saturday I had the privilege to attend the ordination of new people to the leadership of the churches in Juba area. Bishop Isaiah Dau was preaching and leading the ceremony, and had a strong message on the importance of the Power of the Holy Spirit in our ministry.
In the picture you see myself with outgoing Area Board leader, Pastor Raphael Kienyi.

Visiting a newly pioneered church on Dokabu island. Sunday me and my co-worker Pastor Fermo Ogilla, went together with Pastor Wilson Mori to the new church he has opened on this island, not so far from Juba. We went together with some other young brothers and sisters from Juba and James, the Mission Director of the Juba Christian Centre. It was a fun ride in the boat on the river Nile for half an hour to one of the villages on this island. It is about 50km long and 5 km wide and there are 9 villages on it with about 3000 households all together. If you want to see the island on a map, you can click on this link: http://tinyurl.com/8k6ju9t Wilson has really done a good job planting a church here, and we had a good time 5 young people received Christ in the service. I was sharing the Gospel of Jesus with them, and many also came to receive healing. It was exciting to see the intensity of their prayers, and it really touched my heart. In the picture you see me praying for one of the young men receiving Jesus. You can see a inspiring video of the young people singing outside the church building after the service here: http://youtu.be/3x1Qw1wakEk We are now working with the church to start a small agricultural project here on this fertile island together with my friend Svein who also came to visit this church some weeks ago when he was in Juba. In the picture you see Wilson outside the simple church building they have constructed. Million Leaders Mandate also in Norway. I have been asked by a Christian organization in Norway to do the training in the second largest town here, Bergen. This training has not been done here before, and it was a great joy for me to do the Notebook 1 there this weekend. I travelled there almost straight from Africa and there were such an excitement by the participants. |
The coming weekend in Budapest Hungary.
It was a blessing to me to be able to start the Million Leader Mandate in Hungary in February this year, and the coming weekend I am doing Notebook 2 there in Budapest. We had a good group of pastors and leaders from all over Hungary and from most evangelical denominations for the first training, and expect also this one to be a great time there. Do pray for this training that the anointing of the Holy Spirit will flow and that the teaching will touch the hearts of the participants.
What do you think about most of the time?
I just want to remind you about the wise words of Solomon in Proverbs 23;7: “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he!” You have the authority to decide what you think about, but it will always be according to your hearts condition. Jesus declares in Matthew 15;19: “for out of the heart come evil thoughts . . . “ That makes it very important to keep your heart right, and if you wonder how your heart is – just listen to what you speak!! Because Jesus says that our mouth speaks what our hearts are full of.
We all the time need to keep the heart clean so that our thoughts can be in line with Gods plan for us, and this happens with the renewing of our mind. Read these two verses from Romans 12;1-2 several times loud for yourself: “I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
May God bless you and keep thinking Gods great thoughts for your life. He wants you to prosper, to be blessed, to have more than enough, spiritually, financially and physically! Think on these thought and they will become like a magnet in your life, pulling all good things to you – every day!
