What a great mission tour to Kenya again! I am on my way home from two fantastic weeks with meetings and seminars in several parts of the country. I just thank God for all his blessings, and I rejoice over all the great people I have met. Startup among the Samburu people. The first weekend I had the pleasure to visit Maralal again. We stayed in a new Lodge on Ngari Hills, overlooking the town. The church had invited some of the neighbor churches and the large building was packed with people. I was preaching in the service in the morning, and after a lunch I had two seminars in the afternoon. It was great to hear many different of the Samburu singing groups praising God in their colorful clothes. In the seminars I was speaking about the need to reach every tribe and people group with the Gospel, and to be a witness of Jesus we need the power of the Holy Spirit, and Jesus told his disciples to wait in Jerusalem for this power. The power came on the day of Pentecost and is available for us today. Very many in the church had not yet received this power and spoken in new tongues as the Bible speak about, and as we prayed a great number of the people present received the power of the Holy Spirit and there were joy and dancing in the church! |

To Nairobi for the Africa – Israel conference.
From Maralal we travelled to Nairobi for the great conference there. We had a training for some leaders Tuesday morning before the conference started, and we all had a great time the rest of the week up to Friday with pastors and leaders from a lot of different nations in Africa. The conference was officially opened by Her Excellency Rachel Ruto, the wife of the vice president in Kenya, and the ambassadors from Zambia, South Sudan and also Israel visited the conference and gave their greetings. The local Member of Parliament also came and greeted the conference. The coal for the conference was: “Comforting Israel & Empowering Africa” and I felt this week had a great significance for Africa.

The main speaker in the conference was my friend Erik Selle (picture) from Norway, that is the president of The Africa-Israel Intiative that organized this week. Bishop Mulinge is leading the organization in Kenya and was the organizer of the conference that were held in the Deliverence church at Kitengela.
Business seminar in Kinango on Saturday.
We left Nairobi Friday evening for Mombasa, and had a great business seminar day at the South Coast at Kinango. The John Maxwell leadership training is a great blessing and challenge for leaders both in churches and in business, and is a great inspiration. It was great excitement in the conference, and we hope to do such a training also in Mombasa and other places in Kenya.
Sunday service at Ukunda - north of Mombasa.
I had the pleasure of sharing the Word of God in the service of a church not far from where we stayed in the hotel. It was great to see all generations praising God together, with the children, the youth and all ages up to the very old. One of the leaders was my dear brother Samwel Jefwa that I met on my first trip to Kenya in January 1973. He has been a pioneer in the East Africa Pentecostal Churches, and is still going strong.
I am very thankful to God for being able to serve the Kingdom of God in Kenya, and one of the issues that made me praise God this time was coming to know that several churches in Kenya have now been active in sending out missionaries to the unreached and least reach people groups. I was also happy to meet a Kenyan that has been planting churches among unreached people groups in the Lamu – Garsen areas – closer to the border of Somalia. Pastor Justus Chifuka has been working with some of the very least reached people groups there, and we will be praying with him to see great results in these areas. Please join me in praying for him and all that are reaching out to finish the great commission in Kenya.
Expect supernatural intervention!
Having Jesus alive in your life is having divine power flowing through you. You should be expecting miracles every day. Also remember that you have Angels that are assigned to you. You should never underestimate the attentiveness of your Father toward you.
Do you remember when Elisha´s servant was trembling of fear, seeing the Syrian army that was to attack them? The prophet prayed that his servant´s eyes should be opened, and then he saw the army of angels that were assigned to protect them. The power of God is in you and the army of God surrounds you! Fear not and be of great courage! The Bible tells you: “He gives power to the faint, and to them that have no might he increases strength.” (Isaiah 40;29)
May God bless you and be bold in the Name of Jesus! Greetings
